Since beginning my new job two weeks ago, I've had almost no time to read. I do have quite a commute, so I've taken to listening to audio books instead.
So far, I've finished Jane Eyre
and am nearly finished with Emma.
I've also started watching the movie versions of certain books I've read. Last night, I saw Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, with two of the finest: Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche. Somehow, though, it wasn't as wonderful as I'd anticipated.

Good morning. I found your blog while on a rabbit-trail and am pleased. :o)
Long ago I viewed Wuthering Heights..the 'old' version. I was struck by the dark mystery and sorrow of it all. I believe the movie was made in the early 40's. I haven't viewed the remake though but am curious to compare the two.
Have you seen Tess of the Durbevilles? Or, The Mayor of Casterbridge? Excellent.
Where did you find audio of Emma, etc? I haven't seen those in our local Borders bookstore.
I hope it's okay that I link your blog.
Blessings this day...
