I'm making a simple stockinette hat whilst listening to more of Mma Ramotswe's adventures.
It's on my one pair of wooden needles in preparation for our plane ride tomorrow. If they take them away, I will be absolutely furious.

According to the TSA, you should be okay! I always did wonder whether they were allowed so I finally looked it up.

The TSA website used to have a tool that would let you type the name of an item into a box and it would tell you whether you could fly with it, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. Anyhow, I hope your flight goes smoothly!
I hope they let you take the knitting on board, let us know how it went. :)
oh and you were right! the yarns all look absolutely delicious! I couldn't choose my favorite color, they are all fabulous! :D

Gorgeous yarn! I hope you have a good flight, with knitting in hand!
Hope all goes well with the plane knitting. I love those books too! They're humorous and tell a meaningful story in a light-hearted way.

Good news--I made it on the plane without having to relinquish my needles! We're just about to take off. Pete challenged me to have the hat done by the time we land. Here goes!
The world is so small. The "Small Things" blog is around Charlottesville it looks like....which is where I live. Woo!
