I've been devouring Alexander McCall Smith's The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. I listen to the books on cd throughout the day, then read from the volumes before going to sleep.
At the moment, I'm on the fifth volume, The Full Cupboard of Life and knitting a soaker (diaper cover).

I love these books. I read them again when the Summer began. And how fun to knit those diaper cover trousers.
Mama and I love those books (as you well know)! We're so sorry we ran out of them. We read twelve in a year together. Can't wait for MS to come out with the next one!
I also adore these books and raced through them when I first discovered them a few years ago. Then I had to wait longer while he wrote a few more sequels! I love the African setting of these so I haven't been so inclined to try out his other series set elsewhere, but I hear those are also good.
I too like The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency books. I like your soaker as well. I knitting soakers for my daughter.
Mom & I like that series. She buys the audio books and passes them on.
I think I got up to In the Company of Cheerful Ladies before I overdosed.
Haven't listened to one in a while. hmm.
